The watch face is beautiful. However, the date is slightly magnified. The magnifier picks up any direct light resulting in a hard to read date number. If you are in the shade or in an area where no direct light exists, the date is clear. This feature is a definite negative and, quite frankly, ruins the whole experience of the watch.
